Content Policy

Rules for authorized, consensual, lawful, and clearly disclosed use of FaceSwapGif and its generated face swap content.

Last updated: 2026-07-14

This Content Policy applies to every upload, instruction, generation, download, publication, and other use of FaceSwapGif. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

Face swap technology can be creative and useful, but it can also violate privacy, consent, safety, and other rights. You are responsible for confirming that your content and intended use comply with this policy before you upload or generate anything.

Allowed uses

You may use FaceSwapGif for lawful purposes when you have all required rights and consent, including:

  • transforming your own face and media;
  • creating content with adults who have clearly agreed to the face swap and its intended sharing;
  • using synthetic sample faces and media supplied by FaceSwapGif for demonstrations;
  • creating authorized entertainment, creative edits, reaction GIFs, or parody that does not deceive or harm people; and
  • private testing with media you are entitled to process.

Consent must cover the intended context. Permission for one photo, event, or private experiment does not automatically authorize a different, public, commercial, sexual, political, or misleading use.

Prohibited content and conduct

Do not use FaceSwapGif to create, upload, request, keep, or distribute the following.

Non-consensual face or likeness use

  • a face, voice, body, or likeness without the person's permission;
  • content created after permission has been withdrawn;
  • stolen private media, hidden-camera material, or content obtained through unauthorized account access;
  • unauthorized use of a public figure, creator, employee, customer, or private individual; or
  • content that falsely suggests a person participated in, endorsed, or approved an event, product, statement, or relationship.

Minors and sexual content

  • any face swap involving a person under 18, even when the intended result is not sexual;
  • nudity, pornography, sexualized content, intimate imagery, sexual services, or fetish content;
  • non-consensual intimate imagery or content intended to undress or sexualize a person; or
  • sexual exploitation, grooming, or any content that could endanger a child.

Deception, impersonation, and fraud

  • impersonation intended to obtain money, credentials, access, services, or trust;
  • identity fraud, scams, fabricated evidence, false confessions, or fake endorsements;
  • deceptive political, election, public-health, emergency, or news content;
  • content intended to mislead viewers about what a real person said or did; or
  • use in identity verification, biometric surveillance, law enforcement, immigration, employment, housing, education, insurance, credit, or other high-impact decisions.

Harassment, hate, and harm

  • threats, stalking, bullying, blackmail, humiliation, defamation, or targeted harassment;
  • hateful or discriminatory content targeting protected characteristics;
  • content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, human trafficking, abuse, or serious criminal activity;
  • instructions or encouragement for self-harm or harm to others; or
  • disclosure of private contact, location, financial, health, identity, or other sensitive information intended to harm someone.

Rights violations and abusive system use

  • content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights;
  • malware, unauthorized scraping, security attacks, or attempts to bypass safety, upload, access, rate, provider, or credit controls;
  • use of another person's account or payment method without authorization; or
  • any content or conduct that violates applicable law.

Disclosure and sharing

When a reasonable viewer could mistake an output for authentic media, clearly and prominently disclose that it has been altered or AI-generated. Do not remove disclosures in order to deceive people. A parody, meme, or entertainment label does not cure missing consent, rights violations, or harmful use.

Before publishing, review the complete output and the context in which it will appear. You remain responsible for copies shared outside FaceSwapGif and should remove them if consent is withdrawn or a rights or safety problem is identified.

Reports and removal requests

Use Report Abuse to report unauthorized face use, impersonation, fraud, harassment, privacy concerns, sexual content, content involving minors, or intellectual-property and other rights violations. Include a URL, task ID, or other locating information and a factual explanation. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, government-issued identity documents, or unrelated sensitive information.

Reports are reviewed through the support workflow. We may request clarification, remove stored media, restrict an account, preserve relevant records, or take no action when available information does not establish a violation. We do not promise an automatic result or fixed review time.

Enforcement

Depending on the severity, recurrence, and risk of a violation, FaceSwapGif may:

  • reject, stop, or decline to return a generation;
  • remove stored media or public references;
  • limit features, credits, uploads, downloads, or account access;
  • suspend or permanently terminate an account;
  • preserve information needed for investigation, disputes, or legal compliance; or
  • notify affected providers, rights holders, or authorities when reasonably required or permitted by law.

We do not guarantee a credit refund for policy-violating tasks. Attempts to evade enforcement, including by creating new accounts, are also violations.

Appeals and questions

If you believe an enforcement decision was mistaken, contact support@faceswapgif.com with the account, task, and permission context needed to review it. Do not send identity documents unless we specifically explain why they are necessary.

We may update this policy as the Service, risks, or legal requirements change. The current version and update date are published on this page.
